She wont get pregnant till she goes into heat. So you have awhile, but I would get them fixed as soon as the vet will do it.

From what I understand cats go into heat for the first time between 6 and 8 monthes. Which means you still have time to get them fixed lol only if you dont want a house full of kittens that is .

My vet recommends around 6 months for spay/neuter.
We have an adopted kitty from the pound that had kittens when she was about 10 months old.... (she already had them before someone dumped her & the kittens at the pound)

won't happen. a common issue with introducing a sparkling cat to a "muddle" is separation. I have not have been given any thought why this could be a common prepare and suggestion to human beings in this web site! do no longer separate the cats from one yet another once you introduce! the heady scent will stress the 11 month previous nuts and putting apart them makes introduction that lots harder! positioned them jointly. One will dominate the different. this is the way cats strengthen a relationship. This "separation" during introduction is organic nonsense! examine my profile. we've in no way had a issue introducing new cats to our muddle. They set up their own pecking order. basic as that. the quicker they are only allowed to do their element, the better.

well do you want them to get pregnant? because getting letting a kitten have kittens is just plain sick. if you want them to have more kittens you should wait until the female is a few years old.
but i would strongly advise getting them both spayed or nutered because then the male can't get her pregnant too soon and he also can't get any one elsew pregnant. you shoudl get her spayed because there are alot of ferrel kittens out there with out you adding to their number just for recreation. so talk to a vet because there are organizations that can spay/nuter for cheap

Heats generally can start anywhere from 3-6 months. Call your vet and tell them about your situation and ask when it would be safe to get them fixed.

Get them spayed at 4 months, my darling female went into heat at 5 months and its more expensive to get them spayed/neutered once they have gone into heat and alot less noisy

I personally think that spaying and neutering is the best choice. this is because it orevents lost animals from being lost and dying.

Call your vet and schedule their surgeries! If you wait for the first heat, it may be too late!
