He is an indoor cat and has never been outside. We moved to a new house recently. The previous occupants had pets. I think he got fleas when we moved into the new house. He has been scratching uncontrollably ever since we moved. I bathed him in flea shampoo but he is still itching all the time.

The computer I got just last week and now that she has discovered it she will not leave it alone. She keeps playing w/ the wire and I am scared she will either chew through them or pull the moniter off the desk. She also attacks my ankles every time I walk. My legs are all bit up and she is driving me crazy! What do I do?

Recently my old 15 year old cat has moved in with us from my parents house. We already have two other cats that are one yrs old. We quarantine her in a room away from the other cats for a week with a clean litter box, food, & water. She was doing fine until recently we noticed that she has started pooping around our house and urinating on our floor mats.
We have tried everything to see what's wrong with her. We would clean her litter box everyday, give her attention, and she recently saw the vet who said she's fine. The other two cats don't really pay attention to her either.
Any advice or suggestions is welcome!

Shes 6 months old, and has a brother. His breath never smells, but hers is horrible. She doesnt eat anything more than cat food, and the occasional treat. Why is this?

My cat is almost 4 years old. He's always been very aggressive and mean. He is constantly attacking me or anyone else that walks by. He jumps on your leg and sinks his teeth in until he draws blood. He doesn't like to be touched...if you try and pet him he attacks you. I've taken him to the vet and he suggested putting the cat down. I love my cat and don’t want to kill him. Any ideas on how to stop him for attacking us?

This might be a stupid questions, but I've never owned a cat before. Does it negatively affect your cat if he sees you leave the apartment?

I went to Pet Supply the other day to pick up some cat food and I see all these cats up for adoption everytime I go. Why are people so ignorant to give up a family member who supplies unconditional love? How many of you agree?

I have two indoor cats, but there are at least 6 strays using my yard as their bedroom, litter box and playground because my neighbor started putting out food for them. Is there anything non-chemical (natural method?) that will make my yard undesirable? I read that cats don't like coffee grounds but haven't been able to acquire enough to see if it works.

Periodically, we get stains on our carpeting from cat vomit. Does anyone know of a good cleaner that will remove these easily?

Thank you!

It couldn't walk right. Its legs started to spasm and jerk at different angles. It lasted about 2 minutes. After it calmed down, it walked normally again. Any ideas on what happened?

I got a new kitten who had fleas I bathed her as soon as I could to get rid of them with some all natural flea shampoo thats safe for kittens but I guess I didnt do it in time because she gave my flea free cat fleas, I have bathed them both with that shampoo(i have the battle scars to prove it) Used some of that pet friendly spray, I tried some of those drops that you get from walmart ( belive me I wont do that again it made my adult cat sick and I didnt try it on the kitten) and on a suggestion from a family member I rubbed them both down with garlic powder. I need to know the best way to kill the fleas with out using chemicals I dont want to poison my cats I learned my lesson with those drops (which didnt work anyways)

She has ALWAYS used her litter box but just recently she has started to pee on my bathroom carpets and some places around the house. She even pees on the carpet in my babys room. WHY? She still uses her litter box, just also uses other places. My husband and I just had a baby 9mos ago, could this be it? We also have another female cat who does none of this. Its only this one. She also has started to attack the other cat. Do you think she is feeling neglected? Please help...

I live with 3 other people and 2 cats. Everybody is mean to one of the cats but me, and we sleep together and cuddle. I liked him, but now the cat started humping my blankets so I don't let it in my room anymore. Now it won't have anybody nice to it again.

What should I do? It isn't even my cat, it's another person's who lives there.

you share a house. I have been treating my indoor cat weekly. I'm always vacuuming and spraying my half of the house. Even taken her to the vet. My problem is I have an apartment in a house that I share with my landlords. they have 2 cats and 2 dogs. they will not treat thier poor flea infested animals or the house. how can i keep the fleas from coming into my place. I feel so bad for the animals. and I don't like having to treat my cat weekly. but if i don't she becomes severly infested. I don't have the money to move have dwindled my savings with flea sprays and vet visits. My next question is what health problems can fleas cause humans? I know they cause worms and respitory illness in animals
