Buy a steam cleaner so you actually clean the carpet instead of covering up the stain.. and use a pet and odor cleaning solution...not only does this make the entire place smell better but it cleans your carpets too and u can use the steamer for poop accdents, pee, vomit, spiiled food/drinks, etc. Total cost 200 for the bissell 2x steam cleaner and $20 for a gallon of the cleaning solution.

Spotshot is available at Walmart etc. and works very well for all animal stains. The only problem is that it works TOO well. Unless you have a VERY clean carpet, which if you have animals you probably don't, you will be left with a spot that is cleaner than the rest of your carpet. You then need to use some regular carpet cleaner in the area around the spot and feather the edges, or shampoo the whole carpet.

I have found that treating the carpet with club soda poured on the carpet and wiped up with a soft rag will remove most of the stain from vomiting. You can use a regular carpet cleaner afterwards. The club soda neutralizes the acid from the cat's stomach.

Stop trying to clean the carpet by rubbing it,you are only pushing the stain further in. I would suggest getting a professional cleaning firm in ifrom yr area.

Well, my family uses Resolve on all of our cats' vomit stains. You just spray some on the spot and scrub for a few seconds with a towel. Good luck!

Nature's Miracle works great on all pet stains/odors. It uses natural enzymes to neutralize the stain/odor and is safe for carpets and pets.

We have off-white carpet and cats who have delicate tummies. We use Resolve to clean their stains as well as any other stain on the carpet. It works well and Wal-Mart makes a cheaper store brand.

I love Spot Shot. It works like a charm on any spot, including cat vomit. Just spray and they're gone.

Natures Miracle at the pet store. While you are at it, get some medicine or special food for hair balls. No cat should be throwing up that often. Ewwwww.
