It's not necessarily diagnosed as bipolar, but they can certainly have personality disorders. Especially as they become geriactric. Old cats do suffer from a degree of senility and dimentia. What's wrong with your cat? How old is it? Email me if you need more info.

I think cats by nature are moody. My one cat goes through cycles -where I won't see him for weeks, but then for the next weeks he wants to be with me all the time. It's very strange.

As they same, "a dog will come when called, a cat will take a message and get back to you!"

No, in your case your cat just hates you some time. A cat can not be or become bipolar, what kind of question is that?
