My wife took it to the vet, and he said it was like a pimple. he popped it and pulled some stuff out of it and said use acne stuff on it. so about a week or two later, we were going to apply some stuff last night and noticed their was some stuff inside the small hole that the vet made from before. we ended up taking out some white substance, then it sealed up and started to get red, and created a bump. we applied some prioxide and let it be for the night. after checking it tonight, it seems it got a tad bigger and the bump is harder like it has more pressure inside it. please supply some advice. thx

I've gone through 3 vets, none of who could help. Kittens not responding to any of the antibiotics. Vet says they may be chronic - has anyone been thru something similar and found something that worked? I can't accept that there's no cure for my little babies!

My sister says I should get my cat Fonzie a live mouse for Christmas. She said I can put it in a little ball and it will run around the floor and he will chase it. I know those mice are sold as food for snakes and stuff but I think it's kinda over the top. Is it wrong to do that?

i got him october first and he's only recently started the dumpster diving. i have tried spraying him with water when he isn't looking and such, but he really doesn't care about getting wet. i heard that cats hate citrus. is it true that if i put like a orange peel in there he won't go in there anymore? any other suggestions??

We named our black cat Nikta (night in Greek). I need a name that indicates or signifies GRAY. Gray or ash or smoke or stormy in another language might be cool. He is solid silvery gray with black eyes surrounded by yellow. Even considered Gandalf (Gandy). I want a name that means gray or immediately brings it to mind.

And she also has a lump around her collar bone. Not a real hard lump but a lil soft. About the size of a nickel. What could this be?

Hi everybody,

We have a 5-month old kitten that just went in for a neuter surgery today. He got to the vet's in the early morning and got back in the afternoon. Ever since, he has been confined to the indoors.

He actually lives in an outdoor porch that has a pet door on it so he can go in and out whenever he likes. However, the vet has told us to lock the pet door so he can only stay inside for the next few days. This is so that he doesn't become too active and accidentally screw up the stitching.

BUT, since coming back from the surgery, our kitten has taken a liking to putting his paws in the water bowl and splashing around the water all over the floor! He has done it twice, and it is becoming very frustrating because we have insulation underneath that might become damaged.

Do any of you have any suggestions to help with our kitten problem? Please help before my mom decides to kick the poor kitten out of the house!!!

THanks all..

My cat has liver failure. Her sister just started actually leaking urine ( alot ) & shaking and not eating. They are both about 3 years old. My cat with liver failure was fat , quit eating ( supposedly ) & fat clogged her liver. NOW her sister ( cat ) is sick suddenly as well. What is going on with my animals ?! I just spent 350 on the liver failure cat & the vet wants to put a feeding tube surgically into her neck tomorrow! I cant afford that and now if I take her sister in the vet is gonna think im a whacko. I have 2 very sick cats all at once. I am so confused & theres nothing on the net about cats leaking pee and shaking other than kidney failure. I find it hard to believe in the same week that one cats liver failed and the other cats kidneys shut down. ACK !! HELP!!?? any advice other than putting them to sleep?! .........

We have recently added a new cat to our household and my old female has begun peeing anywhere. This is totally out of her character. Could she be going into a mock-heet, though she's been fixed?

She is peeing out of the box and there is a little blood in the urine. Think she has a bladder infection. Approximately how much will it cost for vet visit and meds, and yearly shots?

I have a kitten that was abandoned when the person across the street from me moved out. I have a pit bull who will kill it if he gets a hold of it. I need to find it a good home. I'm in S FL. (I've tried the shelters & put up posters in places where I know the people before you suggest that.) Ad in the paper is out of the question, because we have a lot of cruel people here.

A week ago my cat got out all day long, it was her first time going out and she did not come back until that night. Now she sits next to the door crying to go out. I am not going to let her out, I live in an apartment complex and it is not safe.

Also she has been very annoying since the day she went out, she opens cabinets and knocks things down, she never did this until that day.

Please help me she is being so annoying with the constant meowing and crying to go outside.

I give my cat approximately 1 cup of dry food a day and she still meows at me all day for more.
