They are board, and I told them that the cat was burried in a cardboard box and she might not be ALL skelleton yet!
How long do you think it takes for a cat to loose all of it's flesh and fur, after it's been in the ground for two years?

I just got done putting up a christmas village on a large table. The whole time I was putting it up, two of my mom four cats has been sitting watching me putting the village up. I'm assuming they're preparing playing catzilla with the village when no one is watching.

Last year one of the cat got onto the table and swat a person down and broke its head off. It didn't end there, she leaped down to play soccer with the severed head. Also other cat got on the table and knocked down few trees to spread terrorize among the ceramic village people before my step dad came to the rescue and take it off the table.

It's clearly they already know what's going on and making a plan for maximum damage and terrorize. I'm sitting 10 feet away from the village table keeping my eyes on the cats.

Does cats actually have desire to be a Catzilla?

I have a ridiculously lovable & friendly cat named Tiger. He's 1.5 years old now and has had Recurring UTI's (Bladder Infections) for about the last 8 months.

I hear these UTI's can clear up at 4 yrs of age, but that's 2.5 years from now & he's in pain & destroying my house daily (won't use his box b/c he equates it w/ pain). I've tried 2 rounds of Vet Prescribed Anti-biotic "Batryil" and also 2 Herbal Treatments - neither have worked! Now my Vet is wanting to do Xray's for about $250 & potentially a $1000 surgery if he finds Kidney Stones in the little guy! I am sad, but I don't think I can afford these treatments...

As I see it, I'm left w/ the following choices:

(A) Try to find someone willing to adopt my kitty & treat him (if so how do I do this?).

(B) Borrow the money for the Xray's and perhaps get good news...

(C) Have him humanely put down :(

I'm open to suggestions if you have had a similar experience...What do you think? Thanks!

Here's the deal,

I'm moving to college and I live with 2 cats, one of them I truly will miss. The problem is they have lived with each other for years and i'm afraid to split them up. I want what's best for the cats, however, shadow basically spends every waking hour in my room and in my lap haha, so i don't know how he will react to me not being around anymore. :(

Why do cats like to chew on plastic bags? Unless my cat is just completly strange, the second I get home from the grocery store, no matter where in the house she is she'll come running into the kitchen and start trying to eat the plastic bags. Obviously I do not let her chew on them but does anyone know why she would do this?

I got a little kitty here who needs a name he is a male tabby who is very loveable and affectionate! He is also very playful.
I would like a masculine name that means lovable or something like that. Here is a link to his picture so you can see what he looks like. ----------> http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m104/sickidsgurl/mybaby.jpg

I have a 3-4 month old kitten that my dad took to the local pound recently to get it registered. Since our kitten wasn't exactly behaving the last time he was there, one of the nurses rubbed him abrasively with her hand back and forth on his head, between the ears. Will that affect his mental growth? Or will it affect him in any other way?

She won't keep it indoors and it poops in the hallway of our apt. complex, usually in front of my door. When she does let it out she doesn't have a flea and tick collar on it and just leaves it out all night and day. I live in New York by the way. I have talked to the landlord and he said to report her the next time I see it. My girlfriend has already had a run in with her and it ended up in accusations of landlord tattling. I don't want to be the guy who tells on everyone because I'm new to the complex. What do I do?

My kitten has just been spayed and the vet gave me one of those plastic cone collars to stop her licking the wound. I could not get it on so I took her back and the vet put it on for me. As soon as I got her back she went mental and got the collar off! I phoned the vet and they said that she MUST wear the collar because she may infect the wound or even worse pull out the stitches! What can I do as this is stressing us both out !!???

I have a fat cat who is very affectionate and a new puppy who is a little guy, half pekinese and half ****-szu who is always rushing the cat. The cat hasn't scratched him yet but I worry that he might harm the little guy's eyes if I just let him do what he wants to do with the cat. How can I teach the little guy to get along with the cat? I've kept a doggy fence up between them but the cat can jump over it, and I'm getting to old and tired of having to step over it every time I go into the kitchen.

I have two spayed kittens -- Chubby (6 mos), Healthy (7.5). Originally I was free feeding both cats way too much food just going by the labels on the cat food so per vet's advice, I ended up cutting back to 1 can wet and 1/2 cup dry per cat. Later this went down to 1/2 can of wet, 1/2 cup of dry. Soon I stopped free feeding them and they now eat 3 times a day. Another vet recommended that I scale back their food EVEN more, as Chubby was still chubby. He suggested I do 1/2 can wet and 1/4 cup dry.

Science Diet labels indicate that they should eat about 400 cals/day. Wellness labels suggest 270 cals/day. Research indicates that adult cats need ~40 cals/lb/day so for my cats, that would be about 280 cals (yet don't kittens need more??). The current amount they now eat totals 182 calories. Why don't these numbers agree??

Since Chubby is still gaining weight, my instinct tells me they are not underfed yet 182 cals seems so low. Advice? How much do you feed your cats?

My mother has cats and I suspect she secretly likes the fact that they're vicious and go for the eyes of prey or attackers.. Is she just plain weird or do any other cat owners like this particular trait??!!
