I love cats. I personally think they are the best pet/ animal there is. They are very independent so you don't have to worry about rushing right home. I would totally recommend a cat to anyone looking for a new pet.

Love cats--hate cat urine. Only reason I don't own one. Stinks up the house. No matter what a person uses, I can always tell they have a cat

Outside cats on rural homeplaces are good for ridding the place of (at least some) snakes. And most cats will catch mice and rats, and kill them.
So, I guess outside cats are okay. But I never want to have another inside cat. They are not good pets, unless you like something that sleeps all the time.

Personally I am a dog person but I do own a cat my 5 year old daughter loves her.

Cats are the best pet one can have. Dogs are good, too, but are more high maintenance than a cat.

Heck yeah, I got 2 and they are fun to have around when I am at home. They are a bit of a worry when I am away, but so far they haven't burned the house down.
