Royal Canin uses human-grade meat in its dry food and unfortunately the next two ingredients on their label is grains. Grains are not part of the cat's natural diet. Meat protein should be the primary ingredient in their food.
For that reason Solid Gold is a better cat food (less expensive than Royal Canin). Felidae is an excellent food and comparable in price to the RC. Natural Balance and Eagle Pack are also high-quality foods.
Whiskas is one of the poorest quality foods you can buy for your cat.

Always choose a kitten food with human grade meat as a first ingredient. Avoid corn, wheat, soy, beef and BHA or BHT and ethoxyquin. Avoid Iams, Eukanuba, Science Diet, Whiskas, and brands sold in grocery stores and Walmart. Avoid brands that advertise on TV and radio-you're paying for advertising, not quality. If you choose a quality food there won't be a need for additional vitamins or supplementation of any kind.
Best Wishes

Take seeds from an apple, dried on the window sill for one week. Crush into powder form, and sprinkle into Royal Canin. This will provide the nutrients & proteins that the normal cat food cannot provide.

Canned meat without a doubt, dry food contains too many carbohydrates which can lead to Diabetes.

There is nothing wrong with either one. If you are impressed with Whiskas, go with Whiskas.
