Well you should end up telling your mom. Even if it means no kitten. Try to get your dad to convince your mom if you can keep your kitten. My dad let me have a kitten but my mom did not. We were about to get a kitten but then I decided to tell my mom. She said maybe later. Always try. It is not so good keeping a kitten behind your moms back!! Good Luck

Well get some sand in the bottom of a box flat so it has a place to go to the bathroom and get another box and cut a hole in the front and some on the sides to make a house and put a couple stuffed animals in there and a towel or something soft. If he/she gets comfertable there she won't meow as much. I don't know what your plan is on getting some cat food but for now some whole milk will hold it over for a couple hours or whatever milk you have. UM but I would have to say it is a more rewarding experence when your parents no so you can openly injoy having it without the stress of keeping it under the covers. You may consider telling them. Mabe your mom didn't want you to get one because she took it as a oportunity to add to your Christmas Present. Take care hope you and the little one are life time compainions!!!

I have always been an advocate for telling the truth. You should definitely come clean with your parents. If you really loved your new kitty and wanted to provide him/her with a good life, you would not keep her locked up in your room. Try showing your parents how responsible you are going to be. Make a list of expenses that your kitty requires and explain how each expense will be covered. Ask if you can have a couple of days to prove that you are worthy of your promises. Besides, if you lie about something like this, your parents may never trust you again. Good luck and I hope you can keep your new kitty!

Well you need to tell your aunt so she doesn't get concerned and accidentally tell on you. Second your mom will find out pretty soon about your little surprise so you need to come clean. If you think it may help have your dad come see the kitty and then the 2 of you let your mom know. She may surprise you and fall in love with too.

Whoops! Be honest and suffer the consequences...maybe go to Dad first. If you have to give up the kitten it's better to now than when you are both REALLY attached to eachother.
You should also let your aunt know because she may think something bad happened to the kitten.

All I can think of is tell your parents if you tell them sooner then they won't get as mad but if you hide him/her then your parents might get mad. Come out say something and say you'll do everything to take care of the kitten, if you have good responciblity. If you do say you'll make sure you give him enough food & water and make sure you will keep cleaning his litter box. Now it is up to you.

You do realize that you have to feed it, give it water, and give it a place to do its business right? This is a LIVE animal we're talking about here and it will require a lot of responsibility and attention. Better come clean to your mom before the poor thing dies or gets sick.

wow you are brave! i would have done the same thing probably!
If you really think you can take care of it keep it for a few days, and then tell your parents, they might let you keep it if they see all the work you do to take care of it!
Good luck!!!!!!!!!

I would take your dad into your bedroom and tell him. Let him get really attached to her too. THEN the two of you confront mom. Good luck!!
