Just make sure you have a top on the mice cage. I have 3 cats and 2 mice. Sometimes the cats will even try to knock the cage on the floor. I tape the top shut when I'm not going to be home for more than a few hours.

I have a friend who keeps cats, rats and birds. Every now and then, a bird shows up dead or a small rat disappears. We know the culprits, but she doesn't seem to care and just gets a new rat or bird. If you must keep both, isolate one from the other so that you won't have to deal with this. Either keep the mice in a room the cat can't get into or make the cat an outdoor cat instead of an indoor one. (Of course this would expose the cat to dogs and other predators.) There is no way short of separation or getting rid of one or the other that you will stop your cat from bothering your mice.

Yikes, cats and mice don't mix too well. Your cat is always going to be fascinated by the mice. If you love your cat, you might want to think about getting rid of the mice.

I would put the mice in a cage. Probably something that the cat can't get it's paw through or knock over.

It is the cat's nature. You just can't do anything, mice are pray, toy and food for cats, that can't change. Get rid of the mice.
