You probably forgot to feed him for days and days and he feels neglected and decided to find a new home....

Maybe go outside and shake the box of catfood. He'll probably come running and know you really do care and all will be forgiven.

Take a deep breath okay? Alright. Now check your animal shelters EVERY day. No matter WHAT. Second. Patrol the town in your car bike whatever. Search areas any area. Bring treats and a leash with you. Check holes trees and places where kitty might hide. Second replace flyers after rain or about 2 weeks. Use a picture that shows his features good. Do not hint that the pet was stolen. Put an add in the newspaper and check it regularly. Post flyers where you possibly can. Continue searching and do not give up. It may take weeks or even months before a cat is reunited with it's owner. Also ask that the animal shelter call you if they see a cat that fits your description. But STILL CHECK THE ANIMAL SHELTERS JUST IN CASE. SOMETIMES THEY MISS THE CAT THAT MAY BE YOURS! Also say he "may not have his collar on" on the flyer and "he may not respond to his name". Put both of these in BIG BOLD letters. It may be frustrating at times but keep going. Don't give up hope.

Check local animal shelters everyday. Leave a description with them.
Also, check ALL the area veterinarians. Many found pets are taken to vets whether they are injured or not. Most vets have lost and found books. Leave your cats info (as detailed as possible).
Check the newpaper everyday. Post your cat in the lost and found.
Make posters and place them all around your neighborhood. Cats can travel pretty far, so go as wide of a distance as you can.
Best of luck to you...I hope you find him.

Keep hoping . I had a cat years ago who went away one day and many months later appeared at the door and was crying to be let in !! Cats can find their way back home as dogs are famous for doing so keep hoping and who knows one day your gary cat may meow at your door! Good luck :)

If you have pictures of him, put his picture and information about him on a flyer that you make.

Put Gary's name and the cellphone number of your parents.

You don't want strangers to call you! Let your parents deal with the calls.

Post your flyers in your neighborhood, at the supermarkets, anywhere you can post flyers of Gary.

Good luck.

Posters with his picture on it. Call local shelters with his description. Put an ad in the paper.
Remember Pets Name, Description, Area missing from, # to call.
