My two-year-old female cat has been defecating on our bathroom mat for the past few days. Her litter box is kept clean and fresh as often as possible, so it's not that. I'm not sure why she has been doing it. It may be to mark her territory, since my housemate's male kitten has been coming into the bathroom, and she likes to drink from the bathtub faucet and considers the bathroom "her" place. Can I spray white or regular vinegar to deterr my cat from using the bath mat as a personal litter box? What else could I do?

Will it make him drool and foam at the mouth?

My cat is very sick, we are taking him to the vet tommorow.
We barely give him any though. Like maybe a third of a teaspoon.

Cats purr for many different reasons, happiness, contentment, injured and when sad. The purr comes from the larynx, it's not a purr box, or a motor. The sound of a purring cat is so soothing. Who loves that gentle rumble of a cats purr?

I just got a 7 week old kitten from the shelter & he has fleas. I think he‘s too young for medicated shampoos or drops. Is there anything I can do to get rid of the fleas without harming him? Thanks!

My kitten age 5 months loves roast beef, chicken, salmon, cheese. I cook all of these foods for him. I know some people recommend raw foods, but I'm worried about bacteria from it.

Should he be eating commercial wet food instead and if so, what is the best kitten wet food. I'm finding it hard to get it and when I do it's so expensive that's why I give him the above food that I cook. He also gets dry food to which I'm learning what brands to buy thanks to all of your suggestions.

My kitten age 5 months has mild herpes in the corner of his eyes. He is not in any dis comfort. I was told Lysine is good to give for this desease.

I gave him 250 mg for one day and the next day the same. That night he had very bad loose stools.

I quit giving it to him and thought I would ask the group about this.

I'm not sure if that was the problem or the new Purina Kitten food I bought at the same time.

Today he is fine and is eating the Purina food with no problem.

I still have a hunch it was the Lysine. Help.
