OMG
STOP the tylenol and it get to the VET TODAY! NOW!

You should never give a pet any human medication, as it can be very toxic to the animal.

I really hope its not to late for the cat.

This sounds like this is an abscess, and it has burst. Abscesses reason infections, so this may be the reason your cat is being 'lazy'. it is only like us with a chilly or flu we don't prefer to do something different than lie in mattress. whilst an abscess bursts somewhat some the pus comes out and it could look exceedingly terrible and can bleed lots and a cat will immediately start up cleansing the section. If it remains very purple, bleeding and that they pusing won't stop take him to a vet asap. meanwhile the excellent element you're able to do is bathe the section a minimum of thrice an afternoon with heat salty water making use of a cotton swab. it would be particularly helpful to have a seem to ascertain if there's a foreign places merchandise in the wound as this is between the justifications why abscesses start up. desire he would be ok. only shop bathing it.

YOU GAVE YOUR CAT TYLENOL!?!?!? No no no no no!! Please do not give your cat anymore pills unless your vet specifically gives you certain pills for your cat! He is most likely foaming at the mouth because of the Tylenol or other medications you may have given him.Your cat does sound really sick....so yes the best idea would be to take him to the vet. Good luck! I hope your cat gets better!

You may be harming your cat even further by giving him Tylenol! If I remeber my cat wellness book correctly, human pain killers are poisonous to cats! The foaming at the mouth after you adminster the tylonol to him may be his way of expelling the noxious liquid from his mouth - my cat does that when i give him antibiotics (vet prescribed).

I would not wait for tomorro to bring the cat to emergency vet care. Your cat sounds like he is in a truly bad way.

dont give him tylenol...unless you asked your vet. Cats cant digest the components of tylenol and have a hard time with it ....it sometimes eats the lining of their stomach...Pale mucous membranes are not a good sign with cats. Please take him to an emergency vet now! If not he might not make it through the night. Goodluck with him.

Tish,

By now I hope that you have taken your cat to an emergency vet.

And I trust you have gotten the message to never, ever, ever give human medications to a cat.

You might consider investing in a book on cats, or spending some time at this website ... www.kittencare.com.

Purrs to you .... I know everyone has been pretty harsh in their replies, but they just want to help your kitty.
