Cats don't age at the same rate as a human does - you can't take the age and add/multiply by a number and convert. A 1 year old cat is considered a "teenager". A 2-5 year old is a young adult, and by about 6 or 7 a cat is the equivalent of about a 40-50 year old human. A cat is considered a Senior by the time they reach 8 or 10. At 15 your cat would be about 70 years old in human years.

The first year of your cats life equals 7 human years.
The second cat year also equals 7 human years.
Every cat year after that is equal to 4 human years.
