I agree that it sounds like a urinary tract infection. By the color being "a little off," you mean orange or dark, right? THAT'S BLOOD!!!!!!! You need to take her to the vet NOW! A urinary tract infection can go septic in a matter of hours. Just because it didn't last time doesn't mean it won't this time. I myself have had this, and I can't even tell you how uncomfortable and painful it is! Poor kitty! Don't make her suffer any more!

I think it is an indication of irritation in her bladder. If she eats only dry food I would give her more canned food for the moisture. Dry food only will concentrate the urine and make it more alkaline so that it burns her to urinate.
You can lead a cat to water and the cat won't drink! Ergo, you have to see she gets more moisture in her food.
A quality canned food such as Eagle Pack, Natural Balance etc. will also help her lose weight as you will be cutting way down on the excessive amount of corn that is in most commercial cat foods.

Urinary Tract Infection. If she is squatting all over the town but hardly anything is happening she has a bladder infection. Get her to the vet Monday for antibiotics.

Could be a kidney issue. Some food have a high content of ash which in part is good for a cat but too high can damage the kidneys. Take your cat to the vet and have it checked out as soon as possible. Kidney problems are easily resolved if caught earlier enough but if not they can lead to kidney failure which is not good.

It's a very serious problem - take your cat to the Vet's asap - probably right now would be a good time. My male cat had the same problems and wasn't using his potty box and was squatting all over the house and trying to pee - he had a blockage in his urinary tract and it's extremely painful for the cat and it was very painful for us to watch the poor little guy in such agony - we had to have him put down. GO TO THE VET'S NOW - IT WON'T CLEAR UP ON IT'S OWN BELIEVE ME. YOUR CAT NEEDS MEDICAL ATTENTION & ANTIOBIOTICS NOW - PLEASE TAKE YOU CAT TO THE VET'S AND IF YOUR VET ISN'T OPEN THEN TAKE IT TO THE CLOSEST ANIMAL EMERGENCY ROOM. IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET YOU'LL JUMP IN THE CAR AND GO RIGHT NOW. PLEASE GO NOW, THIS IS VERY SERIOUS & LIKE I SAID VERY PAINFULL FOR THE CAT .

Sorry, Struvite crystals, urinary tract infection or bladder infection
Please see a vet or you may research on http://www.peteducation.com/ but you will still need to see a vet, ASAP, as she is in pain, and it is burning

SHE COULD HAVE A BLADDER INFECTION AND MAYBE SHE COULD HAVE DIABEATYS BECAUSE THERE IS SOMTHING RONG IF SHE IS DOING THAT. MAKE SHURE SHE IS DRINKING LOTS OF WATER AND MAYBE IT WILL GO AWAY AND MAKE SHURE SHE DOSNT EAT ANYTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY OK.
