All fixed, regular vet checks and flea control. I'm fanatic about that. Regular worming too.

Purrs to you and your kitty cats!.

To determine if you have too many kitties, just answer these simple questions...

1. Can I afford to provide vet care for my animals?
2. Can I afford to properly feed my animals?
3. Do I have enough space to comfortably house my kitties (cool in the summer, warm in the winter, places to snooze)
4. Am I prepared to provide enough litter boxes (and to scoop regularly) for my kitties?
5. Am I prepared to play with, pet, and spend time with my kitties?
6. Can I ensure that my kitties are properly groomed and socialized?

The rest are practical questions... do you have a large enough place for your kitties? Do you have time to spend with your kitties? Are you kitties all getting along?? The MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION .... Do you have enough love to share with ALL of your kitties?

* * *

Assuming you can answer all of these questions, then don't worry. Some people have one cat, some people have many cats. It will vary from person to person, home to home, situation to situation. From what you have posted, it sounds like you have more than enough love, energy, interest and space to adopt your two foster kitties ... and bless you for doing that!!!

Purrs and blessings to your happy furry family..........

right now we have 2 dogs, one was a stray five years ago. the other we got when he was 2 mos. we have 4 cats. 2 we have had since they were kittens the other 2 were left behind when their owner moved. she said she would be back for them, that was 4 or 5 month ago. we also feed 2 other cats when they come around. other people feed them too. the most animals i have ever had at one time are 4 dogs, 5 cats and 1 rabbit. we lived in the city on a 50 X 100 ft lot with a rather large house on the land. we were always picking up boob and hosing down the yard, because of the animals. all of my animals have gotten along. our rabbit played with out 2 small dogs and all 5 cats.i have NEVER gotten rid of an animal because it couldn't get along with other animal. now people that couldn't get along, that's another thing.

No way! You sound like a cat lover, and so am i. Have as many cats as you want, just make sure you have enough money for food, vet care, and shots. And it's good that the dogs get along with the kitties!

Well I think I'm the wrong person to ask,for I have 8 cats in a single wide 2 bedroom trailer.Went kinda extreme with the kitties. We would have had only 3,if it weren't for the two female cats and our male cat.1 of the cats had three kittens(all female),and the other female had three kittens.I know that comes out to be nine, but one died at birth. The two that survived are both males. In your cituation all I can tell you is to follow your heart,it won't lead in the wrong direction.

No. I have 5 cats. I have a big house, a dog, and a bird too. As long as you clean the litter box often. Also, make sure they are spayed and neutered to prevent breeding. They also need regular vet checkups and vaccines. As long as you can afford all of these things then it isnt too many.

Absolutely not. I have 11 cats, 2 dogs, 3 birds and a beta. I live in a very small house. As long as you can take care of them properly.

No!!!!!! I wish I had 2 more cats!!!!

I absolutly luvvvvvvvv cats!!!!

I currently have 2 cats!! male/female (both spayed/neutered) who are VERY smart! my girl is 2 yrs. and my boy is 7 mths!!! they're my little babies!!!!!

I want to adopt a 3 mth old orange tabby (male) from my local SPCA. but I want my boy to be a little older so he won't play so rough with the kitten.

I'm thinking that my kitties will handle the newest addition quite well (at least my female)!!! not sure about my male yet!!

I luvvvvvvv my female to pieces but in my experience male cats are just a bit more affectionate!!!!!

I'm like you, I have the money and the time to own my babies!!!! yearly checkups and vaccinations are my necessities each year for them!!!! my cat are like children to me and I would love to have another!!!!

back to your question, 4 cats are GREAT!!!!!!!! =^-^=

I WOULD SAY KNOW JUST AS LONG AS YOU HAVE 2 LITTER BOXES BECAUSE I WOULD ONLY RECOMMEND 2 KITTIES PER BOX AND THE VET WILL SAY THE SAME THING. MY AUNT FOSTERED 4 KITTIES AND THE MOMMY DID NOT COME BACK. SHE GOT RID OF 2 OF THEM BUT KNOW MY AUNT AND UNCLE HAVE 5 CATS BECAUSE THEY HAD 3 PREVIOUSLY. THEY HAVE 2.5 LITTER BOXES. GLAD TO HELP AS ALWAYS.
