Fenrir had two sons Hati and Skoll and there were other names for Fenrir himself:

Fenrisúlfr
Fenris Wolf (a translation of Fenrisulfr)
Skoll (heiti), often ambiguous
Hrothvitnir, 'the might wolf'

Maybe call him Fenris - its easier to say! You know, you'll probably end up calling him Fen affectionately, and you can whip out eh whole "Fenris Wolf" thing to scold him with when he's scaled the curtains, or pooped in the tub.

Fenris Ulf is one of the White Witch's servants, an enormous wolf, in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis. His name, and to some extent his characterization, is derived from the mythological Fenrisulfr. (Some U.S. editions have the name Maugrim instead of Fenris Ulf.)

So Maugrim is another option, but I like Fenris!

My cats are called Merlin, Prozac, Cozy, Whiskey and Winston. I'd say Loki is a good name for a cat, if you're going with mythalogical names. Koshka means cat in Russian, and I've read quite a few stories (mythalogically orientated) with the name (it's also great because it has the 'sh' sound, so when you call the cat it has a better chance of recognizing the name and of hearing it better) From literature, I'd suggest Greebo (cat from the Discworld books) Freya is also associated with cats. Lastly, 'Malkin' can also mean cat.

There we go, those are all the cat names I can suggest;)

This is a web site of viking mythology names... is the kitten a male of a female?
Consider that a cat often grows into the name that we bestow upon them... so what do you wish her/him to be?
Thor for a male or Freya for a female?

I also like the name Sterling. Do you have any other cats? I had a cat named Mickey (the shelter named him and my daughter liked the name), so when we got him a companion, it happened to be a girl and we named her Minnie. But for a grey kitty, I really like Sterling.
