Lol I had the same problem a few weeks ago. My feet and legs were getting bit up something feirce, and I had to keep picking them off my legs before I went to sleep, because I didnt want to sleep with them.
I tried several things
- 1. Vacuum
It didnt help long term it only got some up.
Because they come out of the vacuum.
- 2. Get a mouse trap that sticks
A foot long very sticky thing that works real well to slaughter fleas in a single room. They land and they never move again lol.
- 3. Spray
With Bengal and turn the vacuum on and spray into the bottom of it so the spray goes into it.
What cured my house was to treat it with powder, and then spray(Every inch of the place, in corners and closets). Vacuum and spray the vacuum. By this point you will be left with minimal fleas considering you washed all clothes and linens. Thats when you can enjoy sending them to their deaths by squeezing them between your fingernails...lol.
I hoped I helped =)

The best thing you can do is wait. A flea can live for 6 months without eating so if you now don't have a cat for it to feed on then wait 6 months and you should notice the problem go away.

You need to do a DEEP DEEP cleaning wash everything fabric they can even be living in places like your matress, under the bed in the carpet, in any curtians, in couch cushions ect. I recomend boming your house for fleas (found at any hardware or walmart) also on the outside of your house put cat repleant (at local pet stores) and there is a power to sprinkle on your lawn that will kill the fleas outside. If a outide cat comes to your door and their are fleas on them they can get in your house that way. Good luck

You have to fumigate the whole house then wash all the bedding, vacuum the carpets and couches, and if you have fleas in your hair that anitflea pet shampoo actually works really well

I agree with sugar sweet get that place fumigated! Fleas are so pesky! My friend had fleas in his apartment once and we couldn't even crush them when we caught them. I read somewhere that the eggs can live in wood even when there are no pets left in the vicinity.

Fumigate! Try using one of those "bombs" that you set off & leave. If that doesn't work, you're going to have to call an exterminator.
Next time you get an indoor cat, try using Revolution. It's GREAT, and I live in a very humid environment with plenty of insects!

We had this same problem here. I found a product at Walmart called Nature's Guardian. It is put out by Sergeants. This is all natural and worked wonders here. It can be applied every 2 weeks if needed and they smell good.

Your only option at this point is hiring a professional pest control company to come out and spray.
We had to do this for earwigs, couldn't get rid of them.
