How do I train him to stay on my finger? I feed him mullet when he does what I want him to do. If I take him in the bathroom where he has no choice, he will stay on my finger and he likes to look at himself in the mirror. As soon as I leave the room OFF he goes. I am gone at work all day. I know he is happy because he squeeks and chirps alot. What can I do to make him not be afraid of me? I love my little bird and I don't want him to be afraid of me.

They are male and female. Female was with another male for 6 years. The male died last fall so we purchased another male for her. Now the new male pecks at her all the time.

Weather getting cool, bird's attitude is changing - never really leaves house/sleeps in window/ even bangs on window for food/water. I'm told these birds are worth something - true? Who to contact? Will he survive winter? Thank you!

I lost my African Grey Congo on October 1st. 2006 in Yorba Linda. I left it playing with an Eclectus parrot on the playpen for a minute. What I don’t understand is how it flew when its wings were clipped?? This is not suppose to happen according to the breeder. What chances does it have of survival in the wild? The African Grey was 12 weeks old.

I Get about 3 calls on my landline a week about breeding of birds. Most people ask if I have Kookaburras. Some people ask If I am flying my Buzzard this weekend and others about various wild birds for sale. I usually miss these calls and get the messages on my voicemail.

I don't have anything to do with birds (well not the feathered type anyway!) but when I ask callers where they got my number they just say off the internet without being able to name a particular site. I have tried numerous search engines looking for breeders of kookaburras and such others to no success. It's driving me nuts!!!! HELP please somebody!!

Why the h*** do you stupid idiots complain about these birds.

There are more important things in life than hating these beautiful birds that have MORE brains than you could ever have!!!!

So freaking what if a pigeon poops on you!! YOUR NOT GOING TO DROP DEAD AT THE SPOT!!!! These birds have been on this earth longer than any of you so I would let them **** anywhere!

I own some pet pigeons and they make awsome pets some are even able to do back flips in mid air and dive very fast!!!

Im a punk and its in my blood to stand up for the rights of things I belive in and I dont want to hear this **** any more because it pisses me so freaken off you losers!!

If you want to complain about somthing complain about the way your parents raised you!! nature is part of gods most beautiful creations so dont diss the lords pigeons!! everything even you (I geuss) where put on this earh for a reason!!
