No it's not! How unlucky could you get!!
I had it happen to me and believe me it was very unlucky, disgusting and embarrassing!

So they say...but good luck is just good luck. I don't think a bird pooping on you is really good luck....having a positive attitude and open heart does bring lots of good things your way.

I never heard of that one before, but it has me laughing. Logically, I would tend to think of it as a bad experience ..having a bad day.....bad luck. It's nasty and germ ridden. So, how can that be good luck?
Ummmm...could it have been the Bird of Paradise???? Just kidding.

In Italian lore it is considered lucky if a bird were to poop on you and many take it as a sign from God.

When I was in the Army at Planet Ord we were doing situps, and a guy (John L. at least I think that the first name was john, sure of the last... you out there?) was comming up and a seagull **** on his head or face, I dont remember exactly where. I didn't know what happened until later. He didn't think that he was lucky.

No, its not really lucky. People just say it is to make you feel better because there is nothing worse than having a big bird crap on your head or shoulder.
