Why the h*** do you stupid idiots complain about these birds.
There are more important things in life than hating these beautiful birds that have MORE brains than you could ever have!!!!
So freaking what if a pigeon poops on you!! YOUR NOT GOING TO DROP DEAD AT THE SPOT!!!! These birds have been on this earth longer than any of you so I would let them **** anywhere!
I own some pet pigeons and they make awsome pets some are even able to do back flips in mid air and dive very fast!!!
Im a punk and its in my blood to stand up for the rights of things I belive in and I dont want to hear this **** any more because it pisses me so freaken off you losers!!
If you want to complain about somthing complain about the way your parents raised you!! nature is part of gods most beautiful creations so dont diss the lords pigeons!! everything even you (I geuss) where put on this earh for a reason!!

Pigeons can see a speacail ultraviolet light.
Pigeons feed there young a milky substance.
Pigeons can fly 40 to 50 miles per hour.
Some pigeons have traveled 600 miles in a day!
They sometimes live for more than 15 years when raised by people.
Pigeons have been on this earth at least 20 million years. That is longer than humans!!!!
They where here first so let them LIVE!!

I think pigeons are wonderful. They are so graceful and patient.
They are true surviviors, and do not complain. They scrounge up a living from what they can find and do not begrudge the world for what is left for them.
They are poetic, and put up with so much. They take what they are given and seem grateful.
They find what they need, move on and get on with their lives.
They go about the business of life with little disruption to ours. If you think about it, we have disrupted theirs.
People have said that when the end of the world comes, the only survivors will be cockroaches and Cher.
Add pigeons.
They deserve respect.

I haven't complained before, but they are dirty birds.
We had them nesting near the front of our shop and they covered the ground with faeces.
Now when i see them nesting I block the area with empty juice bottles filled with water and get the hose and knock the nest down before they lay eggs.
Pigeons are kept only to be eaten in a lot of countries.
Actually that is a good idea about feeding them to the homeless people. If they were culled so that they would not appear in plague proportion, no-one would hate them.
Government should set up culling programs and barbecues in the parks for the homeless.

I think there should be an open season on 'em. They're bigger than dove (which is mighty tastey), and if cooked right, won't be tough. There's beaucoup pigeons in Austin. Enough to feed a shitload of homeless folks. Hmmm...good idea for next year's Pecan Street Festival. A booth serving B-B-Qed sky-rat. So, get a grip, kid. A few hundred pigeons on the pit won't put a dent in their numbers.

I and a few other peoplee agree with you on this subject. But you might be over reacting on the subject. There are many other animals that peopl are not to fond of and you don't see other people accusing those people that they are stupid. I love rats to death but I don't go around yelling at people. They are just misguided and you first couple of posts were very educational. But this time you are over reacting.

Thank you so much for educating us on pigeons . i do not complain about them i feed them along with the squirrels and the raccoons and my neighbors call me a lot of names because i do this it gives me pleasure what do they care what i feed ? They do not pay for it right? I pay for the food so they all can go to h---.I agree with you.
