I would cut it down now and again so it dont grow to tall.

Yes...use a big pot for maximum root growth though. Sycamores have massive root systems.

You can grow anything inside that you can grow outside, It will be stunted though, however, you would wnat that so it wouldn't take out the roof...

Yes it is and pruning it to size would also encourage lateral growth.
it would have to be able to access good sunlight and if you had two you could rotate them for better growth and health.

just grow a small tree and its better
