Well, I know nothing of birds (I assume you are talking about those in the sky) but you should try the wetland centre, which is somewhere in, or just outside London.

My son went there on a school trip.

Failing that, do a search for a town/city called Chichester, it is famous for it's birds.

(some coastal place, with mudflats I think.... look on the net)

In Nottingham there is a lake on the university grounds where I have seen 23 species of water birds in one afternoon alone. That's pretty good.

My mother has seen dozens of different species in our back garden.

Land's End.

Meanwhile, there are several wonderful bird clubs throughout England - you may consider joining - they will gladly let you know what birds they have spotted and better yet, where they were spotted.

depends where you live. i live in london and i like to go to the london wetlands centre. they've got some great species, some are quite rare, and they have some great look out points too. saves you crouching down in the bushes. if you're a bird lover then you'll love it.
hope you find what you're looking for
