My dog (half lab, half border collie) is TERRIBLE on the leash. We have tried many different training techniques, but she just pulls like a sled dog. I have read online that these prong collars are not painful to the dog, and conversely that they are. I have read that they do and do not work. Does anyone have any personal experience they can share?

I noticed the other day my yorkie scratching his ear more than normal and when i looked there was a thick layer of SOMETHING, I thought maybe some soap or something from his last bath and since he was getting a bath today didnt think much of it (i was going to clean it out today) but today there's a bloody gash. I don't know if it's from this layer or from his scratching... While washing out his ear i also noticed that the hair on that ear seems to be thinning..again not sure if its from the scratching.
The thick layer is still partially in his ear because it was very hard to get out and was irritating him while i was doing so.
What does it sound like?

She has always had human food when we eat and was never a problem. I gave her some potato chips maybe like 8 and one piece of Chicken Alfredo Hot pocket. I know dogs should not eat human food but that cute begging face of hers gets me to give in. She is use to me feeding her all the time. Lastnight was non stop vomit. She never vomits when given human food. She couldnt hold down her water but she held her Alpo canned food. She is lethargic today and very thirsty. She has so far held her water down. I will do my best not to give in to her begging for now on. She really scared/worried me all night. Today she is still ill looking, lying around, not getting excited. I can see it in her eyes... any suggestions/help...please......

Normally he is not aggressive but a little stubborn. He reacts badly towards others on occassions when my son gets sick (he was his pet) and overprotective of my son to the extent of trying to bite any other family member who goes near my son while he is sick. Day by day the dog is turning aggressive towards people who come to our house.

What Snake did i find in my Garden - it was green with red dots on its neck?

I live in Surrey in Addlestone, so am not in the middle of no where, it was about an arm length long and about 2/3 of an inch thick?

Was it a grass snake? does anyone have any photos of uk snakes? thanks

I just wanted to know that if I put my betta in a 10 gallon tank with all these other fish whether or not it would attack the other fish. Can it live peaceably, even with the blackskirted tetras because of their fins?

i think that one of my mollies ight have these. there are these 2 green string like thing coming out of her. where it lookes like it comes out there is a bump. how do i get them off of her. do i take her out of the tank and pull them out. shes only like about 2 inches

These came as a pair and were in a 10n gallon. I moved them to a 20 and added all the old water in plus 50% aged and cycled water from the new tank now one of them seems to only sit on bottom and has a slightly white layer of film on part of his back what is this and can I treat it????

That is just selfish and low class. SO many animals at shelters need homes. All you think about is me me me. What I want. How about what that dog at the shelter wants? A HOME.
