That depends highly on location... at little as $20, and as much as $75 for the office visit... that is a base, for bringing him and a quick exam though... a thorough exam is usually a bit more, and shots are typically an additional expense. For a new puppy, expect to spend between $40 and $100... with large cities and upper class suburban areas being much more expensive than rural or middle class suburbs.
For an adult dog, vaccines are not needed yearly, (they are not even recommended yearly, but older vets are out of date on current research...) but the first visit is often more because they will want to check for parasites like intestinal worms and possibly do some blood work.
First visit, full exam... general exam, fecal (worm test), heartworm test, blood panel, rabies vac... $100 I would guess as an average... heartworm tests are somewhat area depedant and will drop the price $20-$35 if not done.
If you adopted her she should have most of that done, your vet will just want to look her over and get her records from the humane society or rescue... that would be much cheaper.

That depends on whether or not he needs his vaccinations. Average office call is around $30. Shots could be $45 if he needs parvo, distemper, rabies etc... and heart worm chews. Wormer is about $8 a pill and depending on your dog's size, you may need more than one. You should probably call a vet in your area, and just ask about their charges because I'm sure they vary depending on your location.

I pay $45 a visit. If he has to do special things, overnight or surgery then it's based on that service but shots/vaccines and routine visits are rarely more than $45

For all of my animals each of their vists for a full exam and all their shots is about $100.00 for me. However if there is an SPCA they are cheaper. And I know in my town there is a mobile vet that does cheap shots as well.
