if you want your dog to have healthy gums buy a toothbrush and toothpaste. the area means the gums aren't healthy, it's not a major thing. if you don't start brushing all of his/her teeth WILL fall out.

I think a second opinion from a different vet may be in order. Pale gums are usually a sign of oxygen deprivation. How is her breathing? I'd consult with either the original vet or another one to be sure.

it depends on the breed of the dog. A lot of breeds have black gums... if the dog had pink gums before, but are black now you may want to ask the vet if its gingivitis

depends on what type of dog u have. Sometimes they naturally have dark gums. But I read that it might be a disease. ionno. I dont want to worry you or anything. just ask or call ur vet.

no its fine some dogs have it, most dogs do, one of my dogs does the other doesn't...i don't think so.. maybe she does, not sure. i don't think you need to worry about it. is it jux like it goes to black or whatever instead of pink? then its ok i think so. ask a vet or something but i think its fine :D

I'm pretty sure this is normal, it's just the pigment colors in your dog's mouth. It's like when animals have spots in their fur, if you shaved off their fur, they would have spots on their skin as well.
