I've always wanted to own one and was wondering the best ways to go about taking care of one. I mean in terms of how much attention they would need a day, best caged habitats and such.

I already looked up most of the info online but was wondering if anyone who owns one could give me some general advice.

My cat has been missing since Monday morning and im worried sick as she is normally an indoor cat and never ventures outside. She is 2 yrs old and ive done all I can to try to find her, ie leaflet dropping and calling cats protection etc. Has anyone got any advice on what more I can do to get her back? She is chipped as well. Serious answers please x

i have had my dog about 2 months now and he has wee'd on MY bed on about three different occasions, once doing it 3 times in one night! other than this he seems to be house trained. i dont understand.......... once i was sat on my bed with one other person he jumped up and sat between us for a couple of mins, when he jumped off and had wee'd!! help please

I have so much fascination about snakes esp venomous ones and often confused with this . Some sites quoted the Australian brown snake, some say the taipan, mamba, cobra, viper, rattler, coral blah blah. Which is which? Can anyone with authority settle this argument and pass the official crown to the most deserving slither?.

Really, its irritating and superficial. I've heard terms such as "terrible, disgusting, ugly, mean, dirty," etc... to describe them, by people who have never had them as pets. I really wish people would at least contribute informed opinions and do a little bit of research once in awhile instead of buying into mainstream ignorance about such animals.

ESPECIALLY before buying a pet, thats probably the most irritating thing about these pet questions, are those who are misinformed and own exotic animals.

I guess this is more of a vent than a question... but what are your informed thoughts about this?

My cousin asked if he could use him (Lese him free) he wanted to use my horse so he could go riding with his daughter.He said he would take care of him all winter for the use of him through the next summer. Rich did get a hold of me around Feb or march asking me if he could buy my horse or trade me a car.I said NO.I not selling the horse for that car. Rich said he wanted to keep using him like we agreed on in the beginning. there was no paper work involved it was just us talking and my brother Larry was there when we was talking.I still have my APHA certificate of registration,and my last years coggons.I went to Rich's to see my horse and Rich told me that my horse got out and he called the police& animal control can't find him . I went to both and he never called them to report it.I went out looking& found my horse. He sold him for 600.I want my horse back .that's like saying I let him use my car & he sells it with out me knowing about it there has to be something I can do plz help

I ask this because there was a question by Monica Rae and she described the symptoms exactly of kennel cough. We got our dog from the pound and he has all his shots but developed kennel cough. He would get stiff as a board, gasp for breath and that would last for about 20 seconds. It's nothing to worry about. The vet and articles online say to rub the throat and talk calmly to the dog while that's happening. Eventually, it stops but it took about 6 weeks. No vet visit is needed. A lot of dogs get it, even when they have not been in a kennel.

i started a new job. i work 2 shifts of 7am to 3 pm and 3 shifts of 3 pm to 11 pm..
i tryed to keep the draps open, so when it gets dark, she would go to her bed and sleep.. but she does not seem to be going to her little bed.. im worried that she is not sleeping, and just sitting in the dark. maybe she is waiting for me to put her sheet on her cage. the latest i get home is 1110 pm.. i hope she is not sitting there for 4 hours waiting for me.. i really dont know. i do take her out of her cage for an hour or 3 a day, to play with her..
+what is the best thing i can do for her?
+what are thing i can do for her to make her happy?
+how much time does she need to sleep?
does any one have some ideas.. i want to make my little baby happy.. does anyone know anything about lovebirds? can you help....

Our rottweiler ***** had a litter of 10 and I know there are a number of reasons why she may have killed her babies but she has now killed 4 and I am not willing to chance anymore so have been looking after the rest myself since yesterday. It was her 1st litter and she has absolutly no interest in them, when we have tried to get them together for a few moments she is ok and then she just goes for them.

I really need help! I have a Dauchie/Terrier mix (Maggie) That i have to leave outside when i go to work! She drives me and all my neighbors nuts! I can't leave her in the house durring the day! I've tried shock collars (which i had to take off her cause it hurt her too bad) ive tried different training methods and now were trying the citronella collar! Which works OK but when it goes empty and i dont refill it in time she goes insane! I am looking for a premanant resolution to her barking besides (debarking) her! I cant afford the surgery! Any suggestions would be appreciated!

i got him yesterday and i got to a male bunny and femal there both scared and are hiding in a corner cage ... sadly the female died what should i do with the other one so he wont be lonely... and everytime i try to hold him he gets freaky and trys to go back in his cage?
