German shepherds are ranked the best dogs in the world by votes, next to border collies, rotweilers, and labradors... German shepherds also make great attack dogs but how in the world did German shepherds lose to pits while fighting !

One friend told me a cup a day another said half a cup. I'm concerned that my cat is getting to an unhealthy weight. She eats IAMS Indoor cat food if that helps.

My dog has elevated liver enzymes for an unclear reason. Was wondering if anybody has any recommendations for dietary changes in our dog, particularly what types of dog foods have you tried. Though we don't know what kind of disease it is as of yet, we'll assume hepatitis.

I used to feed my dogs IAMS but i saw Natural Balance at a new pet supply store I went to. I purchased a large bag and some of their logs and started using it today. I know some websites say its good but what is everybodies take on it? What are your experiences with it? I paid $40 for a 35lbs bag. Is that about right for those who use it? Give me your info or advice.

i have to travel with my cat. she will fly in-cabin with me for a 4-5hour trip. she hates traveling in the car and isnt too happy being confined in her carrier. i need to take her with me, so leaving her is not an option. should i give her the "sleepy pills"? any other tips?

Heres one for the books. I have a dwarf rabbit that was bred with my jersey wooley...neither very big rabbits, a month later my dwarf went into labor. She originally had 2 quite large babies that were dead, and then a tiny living black one. The black one we still have.
We instantly seperated her from the male and they have not been together since...he is alone... Now, yesterday, I noticed her pulling all of the fur out of her 3 week old babies body and lining the cage, so I took the baby out for its safety. This morning there were 3 more very large dead babies in the cage. How could she have carried these babies for 3 extra weeks without dying of toxins? Now this is a small rabbit with large babies. Is this common?

I'm concern for her health. Is it Parkinson's? MS? or just old age? Her head just goes back and forth like a bobble head. It only happens when she's sitting or laying still. Doesn't really happen with she's a sleep. Does anyone know why?

bites their heads off and all that remains is the body of whatever it was? I mean do they actually eat the heads of rats or mice. I know cat's stalk their prey but it is so disgusting to find something without a head. My cat is very well fed. Why do they do it? Thanks for all your answers!

I really need some help here please! I need some true honsit answers.. from the heart not smart-*ss answers please! look here's my situation I resucued this puppy from the shelter! I can tell that she has been beaten, from the owners before..there are scabs on her and scars which you can tell that are from a belt so-on...Here's my problem this poor puppy has never been introduce to toy's at all I bought some and she dosen't know what to do..She runs away..likes she afraid of them..I've been trying to play with her with them...but I need any suggestions of what I can do, to help to make it easier..please! concern owner!

The US House of Representatives just approved a bill to ban the slaughter of horses in the United States for human consumption.

The American Horse Slaughter Prevention Act, which still awaits approval by the Senate, passed on a 263-146 vote, setting the stage for the possible elimination of an industry that Rep. Edward Whitfield (R-Ky.) called "a grossly inhumane business."

If your going to ban killing one mammal, why not protect all of them?? Doesn't a cow or pig feel as much pain as a horse?
