I havent been able to find a list of extremely rare dogs. I was wondering if you would know what the top five rare dog breeds.

I have never seen any one list the top 5 and how are you meaning the top 5 - top 5 rare breeds sold? owner? most rare? hardest to find? hardest to breed?

P.S. All of above may not be dogs but are definitely Rarest Breeds.

Not In Order

Xoloitscuintli or Xolos.(considered the rarest of the rare breed.)
Thailand Ridgebacks.
Löwchens (little lion dog rarest of Guinness)
Chinese Shapeis. (Held the Guinness record for years!)
Tibetan KyiApsos.

I am not sure, why are you thinking of buying a rare one? If so, stay away from the llasa Apso...mean, very mean!!!!
