I could find the answer to that, cause i don't know where u live but please, try these other ideas (my yorkie just turned 2 this september first!!!).

DOG PARTY DECORATIONS
Decorate with plenty of festive balloons and streamer.
Add to your theme by making poster board paw prints and placing them on the wall and floor. Drape you furniture
with Dalmatian print fabric and fill the room with as many puppy stuffed animals as you can find.
If you feel creative, transform a large refrigerator box into
a doghouse. It's a fabulous decoration and the kids can also play in it during the party.

A SPECIAL WELCOME
Upon arrival give each guest a pair of their own dog ears.
You can make these by attaching felt ears to an
inexpensive painter cap from a paint or hardware store.
Enlist a teenage or adult helper to face paint a simple
nose and whiskers on each child.
Invite the children to draw and decorate the "Dog House",
with markers, while they are waiting for all of the guests to arrive and receive their face painting. This activity is also effective for settling the children down at the end of the party - parents will really appreciate the thought!

PUPPY OR DOG PARTY GAME IDEAS

Find the bone with real dog biscuits.
write numbers on the bones and the children can receive a prize that corresponds to the number on

If there is no local doggie bakery near your home - you will have to make her one of her very own special doggie birthday cake.

Here is a dog cake recipe for you -

2 carrots shredded, 1 egg, 2 tablespoons of honey,
2 cups of water or broth and 2 mashed bananas,
4 cups of whole wheat flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder and
1 treaspoon of ground nutmeg, 1 teaspoon groound cinnamin

Preparation & Cooking

Blend water, carrots, egg, honey, and bananas in a large bowl. Add dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.

Line muffin tin with cupcake liners and spray each with nonstick spray. Spoon dough into each cup until ¾ full. Bake at 180ºC (350ºF) for one hour and cool overnight before serving.

Yummy - the dogs will be lining up to get a piece of this yummy birthday cake - have a dog party and invite some doggie buddies to share in the festivities.

While it may be fun to throw birthday parties for your pup, avoid using real candles. Dogs may attempt to eat the flame and burn their tongues, or worse, their fur.

I don't know where you can get one, but, I did think that when I have a dog turning one year I would want to do a one year cake. I thought I would look for a homemade cake recipe on net for dogs. Maybe just alternate the ingredients and it would be healthy for little doggy!

Hello! I don't know what area you are from but in Grand Rapids, MI there are Arnies Restaurants and a bakery. If you go to any of the restaurants they give you a free cake on your birthday and it is about the size shown in the picture. I don't know if they can personalize that small of a cake but if you wanted you could order a cake through them or another place and have that one personalized. Another option would be to give your baby his/her own cupcake with frosting and then have another cake for the guests. Hope this helps!

If you don't have a doggy bakery near your house you can make one for her instead. Here's a recipe I found on the net.

Make A Dog's Birthday Cake

Doggy Layer Cake

3 cups flour
1 T. baking powder
1/2 cup margarine, softened
6 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup corn oil
2 jars strained chicken baby food
2 cups finely shredded carrots
plain or vanilla yogurt
2 or 3 strips of bacon, fried crisp, then crumbled, or use bacon-flavored jerky strips, cut into bits.
Preparation -
Generously grease and flour two 8" round cake pans; set aside. Combine flour and baking powder; set aside. In a mixing bowl, beat softened margerine until smooth. Add eggs and corn oil; mix well. Add strained chiicken, and shredded carrots and mix until smooth. Add flour mixture and mix thoroughly. Pour batter into the 2 prepared 8" cake pans. Bake at 325° for 60 minutes. Let cool for a few minutes before removing from pans. Cool completely on wire racks.

Place one layer on a serving plate and spread yogurt over top. Place second layer on top, then spread yogurt on top and sides of entire cake. Sprinkle crumbled bacon or bits of jerky strips over top.

Use "Pupperoni" sticks instead of candles.

Or what I do is just make a human yellow cake and just frost the pieces for the doggies with vanilla yogurt and frost the rest of it with regular vanilla frosting for the human guests :o)

Check your area for a pet gourmet shop. Or a high end pet shop. They will have them or be able to tell you where you can get them. Also, you can do a web search for recipes for doggie safe cakes. (treats too)
