Ii have used the sonic bark collar with great results on my unsocialized dog I got at 6 month old. She was an incessant barker..it took 2 days for her to stop after the collar was applied. ($35 at WalMart)..
I have loaned the collar to family and friends, and all have had good results..
there were no harmful effects on the dogs..They continued to bark when it was appropriate..

Not sure what bark free is. Is it the remote electrical shocker.
If so, then I don't know. but I have a Spray bottle in the house. they are scared of it. I just aim it at them and they stop. It seems lately they are barking more and it is pissing me off big time.
I am pretty sure there are some new dogs in the neighborhood.
and the mail man, forget it!!! out side it's the garden hose.

One possible side effect is that the dog may experience severe meowing for a short period while adapting to the drug.

Yes, after wearing it for one week I no longer have a phone and do not answer the door. I also jump at load noises.
