yes it can.....Burmese pythons have amazing guts. They consume large meals (up to 100% body mass) after long periods of fasting and adjust the structural and functional parameters of their gut to the actual needs. Within a short time after feeding, they build up an effective and active resorption organ. When the meal is digested the intestine is reduced again to resting state. The adjustment of structure and function of the intestine is rapid, reversible, and is repeated after each meal.

i saw that earlier also, i guess it would just go off somewhere and not move for a couple of months
in one of those video sites i saw a python regurgitate a baby hippo!
did you see on the internet several months ago about the python that ate an alligator in the florida everglades (and then they both died) national geographic did a special on it about two weeks ago

Snakes can un-hinge their jaws and so swallow things much larger than their heads!!! So once their meals inside it will digest away quite happily.

Pythons eyes are bigger then their bellys, and he sure will give it a go if it looks good.

they can dislocate their jaws to swallow things larger then themselves.

pythons like all snakes can un hitch their jaws ..... this means they can swallow literally anything as long as they are big enough to contain it.
