Last year I claimed an abandoned dog (who i called Max). I would like to know what he is? Ive looked at tons of pics. on the net but not found a similar dog (they seem common though). He is small in height, all black in colour (same hight as a jack russell but 'bulkier') but not like a staffy.
I now that's vague but id love to know what he is (i should have asked the vet when he had a check-up!).
Also any advice on tips on looking after him - He's a great friend.

We will be leaving our dog in a kennel for the 1st time. I am really worried she will hate us for leaving her, will be depressed, be sad. Will leaving her for 9 days cause her to change? Will she hate us when we come back? Do dogs forget their owners? My husband says he doesn't want to hear it anymore but I am worried.

We have been giving my dog the liquid flea meds that you put on the back. Well she just started her Thyroid pills. Its always worked until this. Are they counter acting? Please help.

He does not actually chew on the cords very often; he just walks up and pulls them right out of the outlet, then walks away! It seems that he is fully aware of what he is doing and the fact that it will stop whatever we're doing. He doesn't spend much time alone and we play with him alot, so I don't think it's due to inactivity. I'm mystified! Any help anyone can offer would be great! Thanks!

My little dog has a booboo. She was running crazy in the house and stopping viguriously and got rug burn on one of her paws and is bleeding. It's not painful for her but she's bleeding all over my carpet. So the question is, can I use Kwik Stop on the paw too? Or is it only for nails?

I've put him on diets but he always remains plump and is now 15 pounds. I love him very much and want him to be healthy, but if you've ever seen Shrek 2 and Puss in boot's eyes when he wants something, then that is the way he looks at me when he wants food.
