Pets - 9 September 2006

I will be getting an 8 week old Yorkshire Terrior the end of October. I don't know if I want a male or female. I don't have any other animals and really don't know much about dogs, but will be a good pet owner. Any suggestions for me?

Hey, this is a serious question. I think my cat is constapated. She keeps getting in and out of the litter box, but she's not doing anything. She's been doing this for the past 3 hours. I would call the vet, but the office is closed. So, does anyone know of anything I can do for her? She's not eating anything different, I've kept her on the same food, so I don't think it's that. Well, thank you for your time. :)

She's unwated cause my brother in law doesn't want her anymore and they wanted to give her up to the shelter/pound. So I'm gonna take her in instead, that way I'll know for sure that she will be spoiled with love.

I bought a variety pack and the cat really doesn't seem to care all that much for any of it. Tried 2 of the 3 flavors so far. He eats a little of it and loses interest. It's the canned, not dry food. Also he's really finicky about eating dry also. He's healthy but I'm thinking he might be too young for the cubs shaped bite pieces I don't know how old he is, he's about 18 inches long (not including tail) and his head is about as wide as a soda can (not as high as a soda can)

Right now I have a Hagen Maxima air pump in a 50 gallon aquarium, and I think it's pretty loud...too loud actually. It's easily the noisiest thing in my house. I got it from petsmart cause it was cheap, but I wouldn't mind replacing it with something a bit more expensive if it's noticabley quieter. This is the only pump I have experiance with. Are there any pumps that are a great deal quieter? Or are they only marginally quieter and not worth swapping this one out for?

He's not very old and SUPER intelligent and well mannered. He's OBVIOUSLY someone's pet but he was abandoned at the local HS but wandered off before they could cart him off to the pound.
Now, we've got to find him a foster home.
He's the ideal dog.
VERY well mannered and getting along with other dogs and he LOVES kids.
These people are nuts who just LEFT him.

so last time i showed you pictures in the first day. now after two weeks you can find more photos of with them and their parents. you can even c how they looked at birth. btw, in the first day they started walking, eathing grass, paper, etc :))
