She's unwated cause my brother in law doesn't want her anymore and they wanted to give her up to the shelter/pound. So I'm gonna take her in instead, that way I'll know for sure that she will be spoiled with love.

Don't just bring the new dog to the one you already have. Instead pet the Yorkie and then go pet the new dog. The new dog will have a chance to get used to the idea that another dog is around and that that dog is a friend of yours. Then go do likewise with the Yorkie so it can see that a new dog is around. Then get the new dog and hold it away from the Yorkie, talking to the new dog, petting it and so on, so that the Yorkie sees that it is no threat to anyone. Let the Yorkie come near and at the same time pet it so that the two dogs realize that you all are going to be together and are friends. (In other words, don't just put the two together immediately and expect them to get along. They both need to know that they both are your dogs and that they'll need to get along.)

Make sure you do it in a neutral area where nobody will be Territorial with each other like a park or something. Get a blanket or toy with the new dogs smell on it and let you dog play with it to get used to the smell of the others also.

if your yorkie is a boy just bring her in then bring him in to the room. if they are both girls i hope they are the same size b/c they may go at it a few times. unless they are both young. have them both on a leash and introduce them to each other away from the house that belongs to your yorkie " .neutral ground" . good luck . your a good person.
