He's not very old and SUPER intelligent and well mannered. He's OBVIOUSLY someone's pet but he was abandoned at the local HS but wandered off before they could cart him off to the pound.
Now, we've got to find him a foster home.
He's the ideal dog.
VERY well mannered and getting along with other dogs and he LOVES kids.
These people are nuts who just LEFT him.

You are right! HOW COULD THEY ABANDON HIM! If they did.....he might just be a lost pet.....I think you are right about the husky part( i have seen siberian huskies wiht one brown and one blue eye) but it looks like a siberian husky/ border collie( the tail n legs...) or maybe even a blue heeler mix..
If you are needing help in placing him in a home; try this
1. post up signs( he may be a lost pet) or someone might recognize him and tell you who owned him and abandoned him.
2. ask your vet, friends, family,etc. to see if they know of anyone that wants a dog.
3. take him to a no kill shelter....
Hope you find good home for him, I would take him but I already have the limit of animals i can in my state without having to go getting a breeder's licsense.

He is sooooo cute! have too many dogs otherwise I would take him. All of my dogs I have found or they were abandoned to me and they r extremely grateful! Eventhough it was sad that someone abandoned him he will find a much BETTER home! Good Luck and keep us posted!

That is the cutest dog ever!!! and it is very unique how his eyes are too different colors! hope you find a foster home for him.
I volunteer at an dog shelter so you can probaly tell that i am a dog lover!

Run an ad. Screen people who answer before you let him go with just anybody. He sounds very special. Abandoned pets seem to know their way to someone who will take care of them.

I hope you find a wonderful home for him. What on earth is wrong with people? How can anyone treat an animal like that. Dogs are such special creatures.

sometimes people just cannot handle the responsibilities of having a pet but still they should have gone to a local Animal Shelter

Ive taken in many a dog and cat that were peoples throw aways. My pets are like family they go where i go.
