We have been giving my dog the liquid flea meds that you put on the back. Well she just started her Thyroid pills. Its always worked until this. Are they counter acting? Please help.

That's strange, the thyroid meds must be making the flea stuff less effective. You should try a different flea medicine. Capstar works pretty well. They are taken orally and kill all the fleas on the dog within an hour. If you are really having flea problems, this would probably be the fastest solution.

You didn't say what brand of flea meds you use. Frontline? Advantage? or an OTC topical?

Also you didn't mention if fleas are bad in your area or not?

Thyroid meds can change the system, but shouldn't influence the effect of the flea product if you are using Frontline or Advantage.

yea...i think that it is reacting to the other medication. maybe you should have the vet check it out. im help my sis at the vet office. i know alot. thats what it sounds like, but im not totally sure.
