I have a female rabbit aged 2 years and after some advice from my vet I put a male guniea-pig in with her. I have had no problems and they have become the best of friends! Where ever my rabbit is the pig isnt far behind! So it's really up to you! Just keep an eye on them and be prepared to separate them if need be. Good luck x x

i am a breeder of both guinea pigs and rabbits dont do it. if the rabbit kick out with its back leg it could really hurt the guinea pig. also if the guinea pig bites the rabbit the rabbit is not able to heal is self because of some toxic . the last reason i will say is the both have different level of food guinea pig need vitamin c because unlike us and rabbit they cant make it them self.the guinea will also need lots of greens which rabbit cant deal with . some people have been able to but some are not so lucky and have end with a dead guinea or dead rabbit.

Don't think that's a good ideas the rabbit may intimidate the guinea pig - better to get another set (1 of each) so they don't get lonely and keep them in separate runs.

It's not really recommended as the rabbit will bully the guinea pig. It's better just to get two guinea pigs to prevent them being lonely..
Also it depends on how old they both are. It's kinda iffy tho..

every one will tell you its not a good idea as the rabbit will hurt the guinea pig but from experence (being a guinea pig breeder) i have found with enough space they are fine. mind never get put in hutches they are in huge perminant runs with there hutches in and doors open and they all get on fine. if found my female rabbit was better with the pigs but as long as the rabbit dosnt have young because she will protect them.

Mixing these 2 could be fatal to the Guinnea Pig. I would only try it if the rabbit you were introducing was a baby, or young enough to be of similar size to the GPig. Also, make sure that the cage / territory they are going to share is Neutral Territory, or the Guinnea Pigs Territory.

you can as long as it is done when the rabbit is a baby, as they can get quite territorial. You must introduce them in a neutral are though and watch them for a while to make sure they are getting on. I had a little netherland dwarf rabbit who lived with guinea pigs from about 8 weeks old and he lived with various guinea pigs very happily.

I tried that. My guinea pig bit the rabbit and pulled a big chunk of fur out of her

I think it depends on the temperament of each, and also the sex of each of them.
I think if you purchased them together, then they would be used to one another.
I would try, even if for small intervals, see how they get on.
Dont leave them together for too long though, as the rabbit if highly sexed will bully the other one, and that is not fair, as the guinea pig is a shy creature, and it would be cruel.
