Is it the Dentists Office responsibilty to refile a claim if one has not been paid in 6 months or is it the patient who must call the dentist office after so many months and tell them to re-file it?

Yesterday I woke up with minor Jaw pain and had trouble eating & brushing my teeth. Took some asprin and hoped that it would be better tomorrow. Well, woke up this morning again with the same pain but a little worse. I'm having trouble eating due to the pain and it has a minor radiating pain.

Its only on the left side of the jaw and I do have TMJ, but it has never affected me like this before. I checked my teeth, they don't hurt, I checked my gum and its fine. It just seems to be in the left area of the jaw, Upper more then lower.

If anyone has any clue what this is please help. i don't want to make an appointment with a doctor if its nothing.

Thanks in Advance,
Ellie

I am 22 and I have 3 wisdom teeth that are fully in and don’t bother me at all. My husband has heard some horror stories about what effects wisdom teeth can have if I don’t get them out. Like sinus problems and headaches. Is that true that they could cause problems if I don’t get them taken out?

associated problems: can't sleep, can't chew, can't go toilet, very unhappy. Is it a time thing to get over the pain and be able to eat again?

last yr i had porcelain veneers put on my front teeth, well now one has abscessed and i need a root canal. Can they reuse the veneer or will i have to get a new one? they are $600 EACH i cant see having to buy a brand new one? i also think the dentist is at fault for not taking care of the cavity before putting the veneer on last yr.

I was told not to wash the retainer in hot water, because it may warp. But I can't imagine having to remove my retainer everytime I go to places like Starbucks.

Dentist says she will use laughing gas then give him a shot? My son doesn't like the mask over his face and I dont want this experience to make him fearful of the dentist. What should I do? I read about how lasers can remove cavities as well-know of any pediatric dentist in CA that uses it?

How much does a root canal cost? I live in Houston and a dentist is charging me 1155.

Any programs I can use to get a cheaper price? Poor college student here.

Thanks!

I don't get it... When I'm at my friends house, We brush then spit out the toothpaste. But when I'm at home my family says I should rinse with water to clean out the dirty stuff. In movies I see it both ways.
So, rinse or spit?

I have a crooked tooth in front (top left---one of the main two if you get what I mean) and I'm wondering if there is something I can have done quickly (like in one visit if possible). It's gotten worse the past few years. I'd hate to pay all that money for braces just for that tooth---plus it'd take forever. Anyone know of anything?

I head one of the lower teeth removed last week, which I've recovered from, but the other lower tooth is breaking through, but there is room on the other side for it to come through (there wasn't on the other side). Is the dentist just trying to make his money??
