How long does it usually take before the negatives of using chewing tobacco start to work like tooth loss and cancer like in years???

Good question! Unfortunately each person is different and it also depends on how often you use chewing tobacco. It of course is best if you don't "chew" at all, and obviously you already know it causes havoc with the teeth and tissues.
The first signs would be seeing a pale white lump, or a irritated red area that just doesn't heal. The key is that the area doesn't heal. What you see on the surface of the skin is usually a lot larger under the skin, so you need to tend to any first signs as soon as you think you have a problem, don't wait. Getting checked regularly is also a great idea to make sure you catch anything as small as possible.
