I took 2 Ibuprofens at 800Mg each and then 3 Acetaminophin at 325MG each. Are these ok to take together and this many at a time???

there has been times when i scalded my tongue when eating hot food. but, is it possible that in the process, a part of the tongue gets "cooked". it feels numb and hurts when it rubs againts the ceiling of the buccal cavity or the teeth. this lasts for a few days, and then suddenly it's gone.

or is it just tissue regeneration?

Why do I get so nervous when I see my dentist? I get all shivery and sometimes feel sick even when I'm in the waiting room. Sounds silly, but it really does bug me now. I thought it would go away once I got older, but it hasn't.

My insurance will partially cover the bridge, but nothing on the implant. My dentist told me the implant was better. Anyone have a bridge? Does it cause you any probelms, like getting food stuck under it or anything? BTW, it is a lower back tooth, used for lots of chewing. Thanks!

I got 3 wisdom teeth taken out Thursday and it has been very painfull but not infected untill today. I can only see the bottom one, and there is little yellowish-whitish things in the hole, I'm guessing that means its infected. I am taking amoxicillian to kill infection, yet it is still there. What can I do? I am going to call the dentist Monday. I have been using mouthwash to help keep them clean. Please Help!

I started school for dental hygiene in august 07. So far we have just been practicing on each other and we start to see patients in January. I was just wondering how long does it take to feel really comfortable with the instruments. How long does it take to really be able to do everything correctly and have that moment where you just get everthing? Also I would love any advice you could give me. Thanks.

k im i teen and my tounge is tied. its not severe and i can speak perfectly fine but i cannot roll my r's or stick my tounge out. if i get this fixed, will i be able to resume speaking normally immidiatly? as i said i am a teen and i DONT want to end up with a speech deficiancy or lisp even if it only lasts a month. i no that i would had to train myself to roll my r's (most likely) but other than that, would i be able to continue to talk normal??? i also have the high hopes of becomeing a vocalist or singer so my speech is very important. as i said i can speak normal now but am just curious.

I just got my wisdom teeth pulled and they caused a ton of overcrowding in the front of mouth and i have a lot of gaps in my teeth when i smile. I guess its partly because I never really took care of my teeth when i had braces years ago (barely wore retainer/rubber bands etc..) and I didnt get the wisdom teeth taken out immediately.

I know that teeth cannot shift without some help, so besides braces are their any other cheaper alternatives to straighten my teeth? I am 22 and don't want to have metal in my mouth like a teenager. Any suggestions along with price range would be very valuable. Thank you.

i am concerned...when i eat should i chew on left side or on the right side...or in the middle...i cant figure it out. is there a special way you need to chew your food? and for some reson, this one tooth keeps hurting and its kinda darker then the rest...so does this mean i am racist against dark teeth?

I hit my mouth really hard yesterday, it was bleeding and swelled, and hurt a lot. I took some ibuprophen. It still hurts and now there's a white bump on my upper lip where I hit it. i recently got oral sugery, and it's been almost 12 hours.
one side of my mouth is un-numbed.
but the right side isn't.
i also heard they had a harder time doing the right side of my mouth[i had impacted teeth]
will it go away durring the night?

I am having 12 teeth pulled and getting complete upper Dentures right after. I am having 2 back teeth pulled on the bottom. How much pain can I expect ? and what is the best way to treat it? Also what about caring for my gums afterward?
I heard I am supposed to leave my teeth in for twenty four hours than after start rinsing my mouth with salt water, is this right? Sorry, I am a super big baby when it comes to pain and I am trying to learn what I can ahead of time to lesson the pain as much as possible.

and, I found out, that my bottom, wisdom teeth, need to be removed, because they haven't come out. Im 17 years old. I was wondering, if I dont take them out, what can happen? Im a little, worried, cos they, said, they where gonna cut open my gums, and remove them, and put me to sleep, or something..Does it hurt?...Any side effects, like, puffy face, or something?..Where do they cut?

I'm making an appointment to get porcelain veneers on my top 6 teeth in a couple of weeks. My dentist charges $650 per tooth. I want them whiter and slightly reshaped. Now, my question is... I want to get the lightest shade possible, but will it look fake?
