Route canals are great. While getting them done, you cant feel a thing, it feels a lot better prior to the route canal. For about a week after your route canal your mouth still goes crazy, but it isn't nearly as bad as before. Trust me, you don't feel anything.

Nope, doesn't hurt. In fact, you'll probably feel very relieved. However, make sure the dentist REALLY has the tooth numbed (she IS going to be scraping out the nerve afterall...and yes, this is another personal "bad" experience I had, which is why I bring it up..) make sure, even if you feel the slightest "poke" you tell your dentist you CAN feel it.......Other than that, it's nothing like you see on tv and it doesn't hurt at all.

You'll be fine. I had one done on my front tooth. They numb it up real good and honestly, it's not that bad. I think getting a cavity drilled is much more annoying with that friggin drill noise and the vibrations in your head from it.

HELLO,
A "ROOT CANAL" DOES NOT HURT WHILE YOU'RE HAVING IT. THERE MAY BE SOME DISCOMFORT AFTERWARD THOUGH. YOU WILL BE FINE.
