Back tooth as in wisdom teeth. Good luck getting that out without a dentist. When you see how deeply rooted they are you will realise why

Ugh!!! Like someone else said, if it's a wisdom tooth, the roots are probably embedded in the bone and you won't be able to get it ALL out (you may be able to break part of it off, which will cause an infection of your gum, etc...). If it's not a wisdom tooth, just keep wiggling it, wiggling it and wiggling it. What that should do (if it's not an embedded tooth) is open up the gum space around the tooth and you'll be able to easily pull the tooth out yourself. (KEEP your mouth clean!)
The situation of dental insurance sucks right now, for the whole country, but dental schools are always looking for something new. Find the one closest to you and they'll probably do it for free (and even give you novacaine).

ouch...bad idea. I know tooth problems are expensive, but maybe not as bad as you think. I just had to get work done and didnt have insurance, and fixing a cavity only cost about $250. While that is a lot of money, it is cheaper than getting a tooth extracted, and if you try to do it yourself, the problems down the road. Find a dentist who will take monthly payments...trust me, it is not worth it down the road. If you try to yank the tooth on your own, you are risking nerve damage and root damage to other teeth which means big problems

You cannot extract it yourself. Call a local college or university that has a dental program. Most of them do dental work for a portion of the cost of a dentist, and they are well supervised. Also, some dentists allow payments.
Attempting to take it out yourself puts your health at risk.

never ever try to take your own tooth out it is very dangerous and can cause serious infection to your gums. Try to ask the dentist for payment plan.

Please, PLEASE listen to the intelligent above responses. Either check into a dental school in your area that does dental work for discounted prices because it is higher level students near graduation doing the work under supervision, or go to a free dental clinic in your area. I know those may be hard to find but if you can't find one try calling a nurse's hotline in your area and seeing if they can recommend someone, or calling your primary care physician and asking them about it! You NEED someone to pull it for you. Do NOT attempt to do it yourself, you could cause serious injury - and that would be very bad! Also you may want to speak to a regular dentist about financing options.

Dont do it! You may screw it up and have to go to the emergency room then you'll really owe LOTS of money. Find the free dental program in your area.. Theres gotta be one, Call a dentist and tell them your problem. They will tell you where to go for free.

Tie fishing line around the tooth and then tie the other end around a door handle. Hold on and slam the door.
