Yes, it's perfectly normal and it will go away in a few more days. I think my face was swollen for about a week when I got my wisdom teeth removed. Just keep taking your meds and use ice. You'll be fine.

They say it's normal. I didn't swell at all though after I had mine 2 pulled out 2 weeks ago (right top and bottom), but I kept ice on my face for like 6-7 hours after the surgery. At this point, you're better off with warm towel though - ice is effective only in the first hours afterwards... I hope you feel better soon.

Some people have a lot more swelling than others. Does it still hurt? Do you have any funny smells coming out? Is it keeping you from eating, swallowing, or other normal activities? If yes to those definitely go talk to your dentist and don't take no for an answer. If it's just worrying you, call your dentist and ask and hope another day takes care of it.

Did your doc give you anything to keep the swelling down? Did you apply ice? My husband had his wisdom and 3 other teeth removed friday and his face is still a little swollen, but not bad at all. Hes is even eating pizza and bagels ...I did make him drink pineapple juice..and that helps with swelling. If its not better tomorrow i would call your oral surgeon. GL

Yes the swelling is normal and goes away in a couple of days. If you put a little ice on your face for ten minutes or so your face will slightly go down.

Yes totally normal. when I got mine pulled, it was swollen for at least 3 or 4 days and then just a tiny bit swollen longer after that. Keep it iced for 20 minutes at a time then take a break for a bit! that should help it go down and keep taking pain medication if you have it. good luck!

Did you dentist tell you to put ice on your jaw afterwards? That happened to me because I didn't put ice on it right away to keep the swelling down. You can try to put an ice pack on it to help with swelling. Usually, you put ice for the first 24 hours after the extraction, then you apply heat after that. It will go down, so not to worry. It just takes time.
Just remember to not suck through a straw for a few days. That can create a 'dry socket' and those are very painful.

Yes.....mine took a while too. I worked in the front office of an attorneys office -- I was feeling okay enough to go back to work but he said I was too ugly to stay until the swelling went down - HA HA HA. I looked like a chipmunk.

they say it relatively is common. i did no longer swell in any respect although when I had mine 2 pulled out 2 weeks in the past (good top and backside), yet I saved ice on my face for like 6-7 hours after the surgical technique. At this factor, you're greater valuable off with heat towel although - ice is valuable in basic terms interior the 1st hours afterwards... i desire you sense greater valuable quickly.

Yes. Are using ice packs? This should help with the swelling. You might also want to take a couple of Advil to help with pain and inflammation. Consult your pharmacist or doctor though if you are already taking pain meds for it.
