SEE A DENTIST YOU MAY HAVE EITHER TMJ OR WISDOM TEETH COMING IN.

You may be in the process of developing TMJ problem. Have an early dental consult to check for any new signs of attrition. This normally comes due to stress related teeth grinding day or night time, and puts pressure on your jaw joints. An early arrest of the problem is possible with custom (dentist) made mouth guard that should cost around $200.

Could be something starting in a back tooth. Or it could be TMJ a jaw disorder which can also make your ear hurt. You should go to the dentist or your doctor if it continues to hurt.

Have you taken any pain medication consistently? If not, it's time to start (tylenol, ibuprofen). The joint where your jaw attaches as the sides can sometimes become stretched and inflamed causing this pain. A dentist is the one you should see if rest and pain meds do not help.
