ok i normally do not post stuff like this on the internet but i am at a last resort. i am a 27 year old female with horrible teeth issues. I just had 2 teeth removed (wisdom tooth & molar) and now i have to have a root canal on another tooth. and most likely many more procedures. my teeth look fine from the front, but i am just overwhelmingly embarrassed that i have to have all of this work done. i know its for the best but i am hoping that someone else is going through the same!!

Just had a permanent bridge put in right side of my mouth and its' hard for me to chew. My left side doesn't touch and when i start chewing on either side my bridge teeth starts grinding. I'm curious what will the dentist do to solve this problem. I spend about 3200 on this bridge and its been trouble ever since.

1) is a painful (recovery)
2) eating will i be able to eat straight away?
3) will anybody be able to tell that ive had bone take from my jaw (my surgeon said not) and he's one of the best in the area, but i want to make sure.

I went to the dentist yesterday and scheduled an appointment for tomorrow morning. But i woke up this morning and its worse than it was the past 3 days. Yesterday i couldn't open my mouth all the way, and today i can't bite down. What the hell should i do? What about eating? I figure i should use warm salt water...eat apple sauce and soup....and take ibprofin or aspirin. Any other suggestions until i go in tomorrow? This is tortrue. I woke up and when i found out i couldn't bite down because of the swelling...i started crying. I feel so helpless and in pain. Anybody have any advice to reduce the swelling?

...lower teeth, next to each other. Taken painkillers, still in agony with pain. Dentist injected twice and immediately began taking out the teeth before area became numb. I made it clear that I was in pain. Surgery is now closed and the pain has spread to the upper teeth. Is this normal? Please answer, pain is really bad. Thanks

I went back to have it adjusted so many times then I gave up.
It drove me nuts to wear it, it felt like constant pressure on my teeth.
Otherwise, my dentist is a very good one and is highly recommended.
I just cracked a tooth and will need the partial more than ever, thanks.

Can I still use them if my front tooth is a filling? My sister smashed part of it and im under 18 so i can't get a cap. It says that it only whitens natural teeth. Will it be enough to notice?? I don't want half my front tooth whiter than the other half.

Whenever I have dental work done, it is impossible for me to get numb. I get the swelled up feeling to some degree, but I can always still feel everything. I know I'm not allergic or resistant to anesthetic; I once had to get my toenail removed and everything worked fine there, so is it possible that something's wrong with my mouth? I always have to just deal with the pain because dentists don't want to believe me when I tell them about this...
