I had my 1st rootcanal thing done about 1 year ago on my front tooth and i had 2 doctor visit , at first i was very scare but it actually wasnt all the painful and each appointment took me about 1 hour but i could not really watch the time because you are nervous and laying down but it went pretty smooth

It depends upon many factors. Single canalled teeth take 30-45 minutes. Teeth with 2 canals might take around 1 hour. Molars with 3 canals take 1.5 hours. But some molars can have more than 3 canals, so they will take longer. Back teeth can be difficult to get into so this can take longer. Patient can be difficult and this will take a lot longer.
Then the tooth needs a filling to seal the top part, and very likely a crown after that.

It depends on your particular situation. Most root canals take 2 visits of about an hour each. If you have an abscess, the dentist will need to leave the tooth open to drain. In this case, it will probably take 3 visits.

i got a root canal done in 2 hours depends how bad the work needs to be done but dont get scared it didn't hurt for me i was scared and after it was done i was like what that didn't even hurt
