If you don't wear your partial for a few years will it no longer fit?

I went back to have it adjusted so many times then I gave up.
It drove me nuts to wear it, it felt like constant pressure on my teeth.
Otherwise, my dentist is a very good one and is highly recommended.
I just cracked a tooth and will need the partial more than ever, thanks.

Trust me, your teeth are moving constantly. Especially if you have missing teeth! When teeth are missing, the teeth behind the space want to move forward. But they dont move the way you think that they might. They tend to "tip" over. So when you have a partial it not only makes your smile look more full because of filling in those spaces. But it keeps those other teeth in the position that they are supposed to be in. Just keep in mind that your teeth even move when you are sleeping. So, when you take your partial out at night to clean it, it will feel a little tight in the morning, just know that that feeling will go away very quickly!

If you don't wear your partial for a few days or weeks, it won't fit properly!

If you had multiple adjustments and it didn't help at the time it was seated; the dentist and lab should have re-made it for you. Unfortunately, becuase so much time has passed, it will be necessary to add a tooth to the partial, which will have to be re-done.

WHEN TEETH ARE MISSING BECAUSE OF EXTRACTION, THE TEETH MUST BE REPLACED OR THE DRIFT CAN RESULT.
WHEN PARTIAL DENTURES ARE NOT WORN FOR A TIME THE MESIAL DRIFT OCCURS MAKING INSERTING THE PARTIAL VERY DIFFICULT OR IMPOSSIBLE.
SO, WHAT TO ALWAYS DO?
WEAR YOUR PARTIALS DAILY, BUT REMEMBER TO REMOVE THEN FOR SLEEPING AND CLEAN THEM DAILY.
I LIKE TO MAKE VALPLAST PARTIAL FOR MY PATIENTS.
IT'S VERY EASY TO ADJUST IF IT IS INADVERTENTLY LEFT OUT OF THE MOUTH.
