1. Graduate from High School
2. 4 years of college--basically the same courses as pre-med and pre-vet majors.
3. 4 years of Dental School, pass 3 rounds of board exams.
4. 2-6 additional years of school if you intend to specialize. Otherwise, go work upon dental school graduation.
5. Drill, fill and bill for the next 40 years. That's hot.
6. Retire and buy yourself a place in Florida. That's hot too.

denistry, especially cosmetic, is very big right now. best place to get the lowdown is a school of dentistry.
