i am 20 years old 4'10'' ive been exercising everyother day for 45min (cardio+weights)
my appetite has decreased is this normal?
yesterday this was all i ate
2 apples
2 fish fillets on bread
veg soup
2 eggs 2 toast

am i eating enough?

She had a tumor removed last Thurs. and when the docs when in they noticed that the tumor was attached to some other organs and she ended up losing her kidney, spleen, and the tip of her pancreas. I m 26 and usually screw up alot and I just want to be able to help my mother during her recovery- she just came home yesterday and weighs like 100 lbs now! She is weak and fragile. And without her spleen she is more prone to infections and what not! Any advice is welcome. I LOVE MY MOM!

Anorexia refers to the psy condition when people do not eat because they have a distorted body image.
But what is the name of the condition when someone does not want or cannot eat, and this is not related to his body image, i.e. has other psy reasons?
How do I find more info on non-anorexia related under eating?

I have been trying to switch my psychiatrist for the past two months? He has this superior attitude and gets on my nerves sometimes. I also feel bad most times after I've had a session with him. He always tells me that we have to do a close out session in order for me to switch doctors. I called the hospital administration and they said that I have to have a close out appointment with him in order to be transferred to a different doctor. However every time I go to see him he manages to manipulate me into keeping him as my doctor. I called him and he told me that most doctors aren't available for morning appointments like I need insinuating again that I should just keep him as my doctor since I've been seeing him for ten months. I really can't afford to not go to therapy. Should I just stay with him and try to find help at a different hospital since he is adamant about me not seeing any other doctor at the hospital where he works?

With all the knowledge we now know about tobacco product. That it is for sure a documented KILLER! Than when a smoker lights up, he is committing suicide? Also what we know about second hand smoke! If their is another person who doesn't smoke, breathes the second hand smoke. In turn dies from that act of ignorance. Could that be concidered homacidal? According to the DSM-IV Suicide and Homacide fall into these guidelines. Now knowing this, give me your answer.

I just have to get this of my chest so here it goes!
I am 13 years old my life sucks i really feel like shooting myself!!
I am so stressed out for the past 4 months that I cant even pee at home!!
I have been to so many Urologists and they all say its a Shy Bladder!
I dont get support from anyone, I am a really good person I help everyone I am supportive I would do anything to make someone happy! And I get nothing in retturn I really wana pee (*crying*) again..
Please just tell me what to do I really wana make everything better Is there anything..

I just got badly beaten by my uncle and my mom and my dad because i got angry and i was in the bathroom for 20mins tryn to pee.

and i have to share a room with him :-(
I wish i wasnt born (*crying right now*)

I have a loved one who has advanced esophageal cancer, the doctors say, all that's left to do now is to make her more comfortable. She is being given Morphine for the pain. Someone told me this makes the body shut down more quickly. Does anyone know if this is really true? I can't find that info in my online research of the drug! Please help if you are familiar with this situation, or if you have medical knowledge.

Every time I wake up, I have severe lower back pain. I am a healthy 30-year old male. When I wake up, I feel like my back has been arched the entire night. Like if I am lying face up, you could slide your hand between my lower back and the mattress. I have tried sleeping with pillow under my knees, but it doesn't help. I have a Classic (original) Tempurpedic Mattress that is about 1.5 years old.
An hour or 2 after I wake up, the pain and soreness subsides. I don't like taking many medications or pills. I have been doing lots of stretching, but still does not help that much.

im feeling for crying for small things like when the car break down or the loo is leaking, i have become over sensitive and reason for it I already know cos i feel lonly living far away from my boyfriend and friends, i guess i could leave my good job here but im worried for it cos of economical reasons, i dont have enough of saved money to restart a life somewhere closer to those whom i love...pls can someone give me ideas and tell me how to cheer up

I met my counselor for the first time last Tuesday, and he told me that I have ADD. He explained how he realized that and what ADD is but he really didn't explain it in a way I understood it.

I've never understood that! I guess it's very rare that I'm in the restroom for more than a few minutes, but even if I have a very severe case of diarrhea, I can normally focus on only one thing at a time!
